Another painting of our “dismal pond,” this is one of those little canvases that had to spend a year in the purgatory section in my studio. The color scheme went wrong somewhere in 2023, and it had to spend a year in the shadows before it was its turn to be corrected. Plenty of canvases spend time in purgatory until it is their time. They know what they did.
